Focusing on the Community and Monthly Social Networking Event: CONNECTING WITH HEALERS

The Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy offers an exciting volunteer Field Program. Graduate students can provide hypnotherapy to clients at health care agencies in the community. In addition to individual sessions, volunteers offer workshops and seminars for clients and staff. Our successful Field Program has become a regularly scheduled event in many agencies.

The School maintains collaborative relationships with local agencies. Graduate Medical Hypnosis students can be available for volunteer services to healthcare center and hospitals upon request.

Staff members and graduate students have provided their expertise at the Palo Alto Senior Center, Sunnyvale Senior Center, Palo Alto Veteran's Administration, Catholic Charities, Association for Enrolled Agents of the IRS, Stanford University Hospital, Adult Independence Association, Kiwanis Club and the Women's Recovery Association.

School-sponsored low cost clinics are available throughout the year. Scheduled clinics are open to the public and focus on providing clients with an opportunity to experience hypnosis at a reasonable fee while giving student the opportunity to expand their expertise and utilize their skills.

The School offers a no-cost hypnosis session for anyone interested in attending a class, workshop, or seminar as a volunteer. Instructor demonstrations and guidance are provided. Students are given opportunities to utilize skills, while being closely supervised.
